Dementia- related psychosis
Vepridone tablet 1 mg 20’s is not approved for use in patients with dementia-related psychosis due to the increase risk of death.

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome
Vepridone tablet 1 mg 20’s should be discontinued immediately if the patient develops Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome characterized by an increase in the body temperature, muscle rigidity, altered consciousness.

Tardive dyskinesia
Vepridone tablet 1 mg 20’s may cause involuntary movements of tongue, lips, and face. Inform the doctor if you have these symptoms. Gradual dose reduction or discontinuation of the medicine should be considered.

Diabetes and Dyslipidemia
Vepridone tablet 1 mg 20’s may increase the blood glucose levels and lipids levels in the body. Assess these parameters before initiation of the treatment and regular monitoring of blood glucose and body weight is necessary.
