Hypotension
Symptomatic hypotension may occur in patients with volume depletion or patients who are treated with high doses of diuretics. It is advised to correct the condition before starting Valtec tablet 80 mg 28’s or to start the treatment at reduced doses.

Hyperkalemia
Valtec tablet 80 mg 28’s may cause hyperkalemia, a condition with an increase in the potassium levels in the blood. Close monitoring of potassium levels and kidney functions is recommended. This medicine should be used with caution in patients with frequent use of potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements and in patients with impaired kidney function. Any unusual symptoms should be reported to the doctor on priority.
